Blogs need readers. But with so much data available on the internet, the chances of an interested reader accidentally stumbling across your carefully written webpage is remote. This is why bloggers need to take some initiatives to publicise their posts and put them where more people will stumble across them.

One of the biggest sources of fresh traffic is StumbleUpon. StumbleUpon subscribers are randomly presented with webpages in line with their interests every time they hit the stumble button. Personally, I've discovered many fantastic websites through Stumbling that I have bookmarked and return to frequently. Join the fun!

The Stumble Drive! 500 Stumble Visits Daily by April 30th

Whenever one of my posts has been submitted for inclusion in StumbleUpon, I see a huge spike of up to 500 fresh readers overnight, as they stumble across my site. If only a small proportion of that traffic enjoys the site and subscribes or bookmarks, this blog wins.

But submitting my own posts is a no-no.

For this reason I am reliant on my readers spending a few seconds to recommend a post they like to StumbleUpon. If you are already a member, you know it is as simple a clicking a button and choosing a category. (You may also leave a review if you wish). Becoming a member takes moments but can provide plenty of online entertainment at no cost.
